From my office in Bandar Baru Bangi, I can clearly see the air quality is bad and the pollution is worsening every minute (Four of the index's pollutant components i.e., carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide). No doubt it was a haze or jerebu in Bahasa Malaysia and pollution in general. Malaysia is under attack right now!!.
Common complaint from the haze is sore throat, cough and mild fever. Face the worst is asthma patient with chronic bronchial obstruction or bronchospasm. Bronchospasm or a bronchial spasm is a sudden constriction of the muscles in the walls of the bronchioles. Malaysia has risen to the industrial age, not wanting to be left behind in the dark ages anymore, but at the cost of the environment.
